Dan Fix | President
Dan Fix is the owner and President of DFLC. With over 40 years of experience in the Landscape Construction field, Dan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to each project. Dan Fix has trained an unsurpassed landscape construction team that delivers high-quality workmanship. From concept to creation, Dan is there every step of the way ensuring the client’s vision and dream become reality.
Vice President of Landscape Operations
Brian is a Cal Poly graduate with a degree in Landscape Architecture. With 20 years experience in the field of Landscape Architecture and construction, Brian brings a construction minded approach to DFLC. With a background in design, process, construction and relationship management, Brian assists in bridging the design-build gap and focusing on collaboration in order to achieve a well executed project.
Brian is a bay friendly qualified landscape professional, member of the APLD and has professional certificates in greywater design, installation as well as installation of rainwater harvesting systems. In addition, Brian’s designs have been recognized in the CLCA installation category, APLD international design awards, Houzz awards, Bay Friendly Garden Tour and have been featured in articles for Marin Home Magazine.
David Orlandi | Maintenance Manager
David is a certified Arborist with over 15 years experience, has an extensive background in Plant Health Care (PHC), and holds a Qualified Applicators License (QAL) for pesticide and fertilization management.
He is skilled in assessing the removal of diseased and potentially dangerous trees, preventing infestations and pest-related issues with an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) approach.
In addition, David’s vast experience brings irrigation management services to new and mature residential and commercial landscape properties.
Monika Heyde | Operations Manager
With over 26 years and counting at DFLC, Monika is an indispensable asset to our organization with her dedication and expertise in managing our office’s operational activities. She ensures everything at our headquarters runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Jessica Fix | Social Media + Website
Jessica specializes in creative strategy, photography and website management. As an established photographer in Sonoma County and having grown up alongside DFLC, Jessica brings a natural eye for capturing the evolution of our projections from in-progress to completion on both our website and social media accounts.
In Loving Memory…
Daniel “Danny” Edward Fix, Jr. unexpectedly and tragically passed away on November 14th, 2022. He was 33 years old.
Over the last 14 years, Danny was a dedicated employee of DFLC. During his tenure with the company, Danny took on a wide array of roles and responsibilities, from laborer to foreman to project manager. As a result of his leadership, Danny took on ownership of the company and became President of DFLC in 2020, and served in that capacity until his passing.
Danny brought an unmatched energy and passion to DFLC and his larger than life presence will be deeply, deeply missed.
